The IndyCar series has been racing at the 15-turn, 2.4 (3.86 km) Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course since 2007. The rustic road course has significant elevation changes as it was built on the side of a hill. The best known curves are the track are the 'Esses' - Turns four through seven - at the end of a long straight traditionally used as the starting line. The track has just 10,000 bleacher seats, but boasts a capacity of 75,000 using spectator mounds and other viewing points around the circuit.

The first CART race at the track dates back to 1980 with Johnny Rutherford taking victory in a Chaparral/Cosworth. The CART-era had few dominant drivers with Emerson Fittipaldi taking the most wins - three - in 12 tries. Fourteen different drivers won the 22 events.

With the change to IndyCars, there has been one name above all other at Mid-Ohio - Scott Dixon. The Ganassi driver has won five times (2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014) in nine tries. Today, Dixon will start from 11th, his worst finish was a seventh place result in 2013.

Simon Pagenaud and Will Power will start on Row One

Power has four top-fives in seven attempts, but Power has never won here. His best result was a second-place in 2010 & 2012.

Josef Newgarden will start third and has never finished in the top-ten in four tries at Mid-Ohio.

Our pick today, is Will Power. He has the best results of the drivers starting up front.

But, keep an eye on Penske's Simon Pagenaud and Ryan Hunter-Reay (starting fourth), both are very good on the road courses.

Enjoy the race! It is sure to be a great one!
