In front of 90,000, Marcos Ambrose and his No. 9 Stanley Ford won the 27th Annual Finger Lakes 355 at The Glen, his second victory in 141 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first victory and sixth top-10 finish in 2012. This is also his second victory and fifth top-10 finish in five races at Watkins Glen International.

Sliding home second, Brad Keselowski and his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge posted his second top-10 finish in three races at Watkins Glen International. It is his 12th top-10 finish in 2012.

In third, Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Cortez Silver Chevrolet posted his sixth top-10 finish in 11 races at Watkins Glen International.

Clint Bowyer and his No. 15 5-hour Energy Toyota finished fourth with Sam Hornish Jr. and his No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Dodge rounding out the top five.

Stephen Leicht was the highest finishing rookie, he finished 26th.

Jimmie Johnson leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 1 point over Greg Biffle.
