Brandon McReynolds ARCA Racing Series Advance: Pocono Raceway
Brandon McReynolds and the No. 6 GlobeTrack Wireless Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota will take to the track Saturday, July 31 for the Weis Markets 125 at Pocono Raceway.
"I'm thrilled to get back on the track with the help of GlobeTrack Wireless," said McReynolds. "I really want to thank John Madsen of GTW for choosing to partner up with us. I'm thankful that GTW and Eddie Sharp Racing see my potential and want to be on board for this weekend at Pocono."

McReynolds hopes to run several other events, pending sponsorship opportunities. "Right now, we are focused on Pocono," explained McReynolds. "I'm going to go out there and race with the best in the ARCA Racing Series."

Last ARCA Race: Talladega: McReynolds finished 23rd in the ARCA Talladega 250 in an eventful day at Talladega Superspeedway. Driving the No. 6 Eddie Sharp Racing Talladega/Texaco Walk of Fame at Davey Allison Memorial Park Toyota, McReynolds battled an overheating engine. Although laps down due to pit stops to cool the engine, McReynolds was determined to gain seat-time and compete against the field. Although he crossed the finish line 24th, his lap times rivaled the leaders at the end of the race.
On-track Action: Although McReynolds' last ARCA Racing Series event was at Talladega, he has been successful on the track in other ventures. On May 2, McReynolds was invited to compete in the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown at Southside Speedway. Racing against NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers including Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Elliott Sadler, Denny Hamlin and local short track drivers, McReynolds brought home a fifth-place finish. Coming off the impressive finish in a loaded field, McReynolds competed at Rockingham Speedway in the UARA Series. He led 61 of 75 laps and won his fifth-career UARA Series race.
ESR Success at Pocono: ESR is the defending winner of the last two races at Pocono Raceway. Craig Goess won at Pocono in June 2010. Former ESR teammate Justin Lofton won the August 2009 Pocono race from the pole.
SPEED Broadcast: The Weis Markets 125 will be the seventh of 10 races on the ARCA Racing Series schedule to be broadcast on the SPEED channel. The race coverage begins at 3 p.m. Live streaming audio will be featured on the ARCA Racing Network when the green flag drops at 3 p.m.
