The new design retains the colours of the previous season, with the red, white and green being the most prominent, drawing on the colours and design of the Lebanese national flag. The iconic symbol of Lebanon also remains with the Cedar tree on the car’s barge boards, an important elemtn of the team and nation’s identity.
Tameen Auchi, Seat Holder for A1 Team Lebanon, commented, "The new livery is very creative, and it works well with sponsor logos. We have put more focus on the commercial aspects this season, so this is why we have re-branded our car. We have secured numerous new sponsors during the off season and now these high profile brands and blue chip companies who will benefit from being showcased to fans across the world."
Joining the original team sponsor, Le Royal Hotels is the parent company, GMH Group. Lebanon’s support for the team is led by Casino Du Liban, with Libanaise Des Jeux, LOTO and Boeker also coming on board for 2008/09.
The new season of A1GP World Cup of Motorsport will kick off on the 4th/5th October at the Zandvoort Circuit in Netherlands, where the new livery will be showcased for the first time on track.
