Advance Auto Parts Joins Boris Said, No Fear Racing for Mexico NASCAR Race

No Fear Racing and driver Boris Said announced that Advance Auto Parts will partner with the NASCAR team as an associate sponsor for the April 20th Nationwide Series race in Mexico City.

Said will be looking to extend his Mexico top-five finishing streak while driving the No. 25 No Fear Energy / Advance Auto Parts Ford Fusion in his fourth career Nationwide start at the twisting 2.921-mile Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez road circuit. He finished fifth in 2005, second in 2006 and third in 2007.

Advance Auto Parts, which was a sponsor of Said when he finished 14th in the 2007 Daytona 500, is headquartered in Roanoke, Va. and operates 3,261 stores in 40 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

A retailer of automotive aftermarket parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items, Advance Auto Parts also carries the No Fear Energy Drink 16-ounce cans.

"Boris and the No Fear Racing Team are one of the most popular and most publicized teams in NASCAR today," said Mike Paris, Advance Auto Parts motorsports marketing manager. "We recognize this partnership as an outstanding promotional tool to extend the presence of our auto parts stores to an even larger and loyal group of consumers."

"We’re always excited to see Boris fly our colors and can’t think of a better place to renew our partnership than the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez road circuit, where he and the team have enjoyed so much success," added Paris.

Said, who has earned world-class stature as a road-racing guru, is excited about the addition of Advance Auto Parts and feels the team is ready to step up and contend for the Mexico win.

"I've always enjoyed a special relationship with Advance Auto Parts and I welcome them as our sponsor as we prepare for the Mexico City race," offered Said. "It has all come together and I look for our No Fear Energy / Advance Auto Parts team to be a contender in Mexico."

Frank Stoddard will again handle the crew chief duties for Said and the No. 25 team, which is also aligned with Team Rensi Motorsports for the Mexico event.
