F1: McLaren At the Heart of Ferrari Problems ?
So how often do you see a problem with a Ferrari Formula One car related to reliability ?
Not very.
So the latest talk around the paddock has been that maybe there's more to Ferrari's woes...
Maybe related to the only part on their car supplied by their competition - albeit indirectly ?

Well, the talk of the McLaren Group supplier ECU causing Ferrari problems is now out in the open.
The virtual publication GPweek.com is quoting a Ferrari spokesman as saying, "The issue was caused by the conflicting of two procedures. Now that we know there is a conflict we can make sure that it doesn't happen again."
The spokesman didn't directly blame the unit but compared it to trying to run Microsoft Windows on the Apple operating system, "It can get stuck and you don't know why".

PaddockTalk Perspective
If you think this is the end of this story... We'd beg to differ. It wouldn't surprise us that teams other than McLaren find issues with their little black boxes all season long, because a team like Ferrari would have run this combination of equipment thousands of kilometers throughout the winter, and didn't appear to have the problem then.
