Occy Joins Skoda
1999 World Surfing Champion Mark Occhilupo, has joined Škoda's arrival on Australian Shores.
No Aussie surf icon has captured the hearts and minds of as many people as Occy, who has been recognized as a great surfer for more than 3 decades. His passion, courage and positive attitude have brought him respect all around the world.

Occy's career spans way back to 1983 where from the age of 15 to now 41 he has redefined high performance surfing for at least two generations. After a little break the tenacious Australian launched a comeback in the late '90s which saw the fit and focused Occy claim his first world title in 1999 at age 33. After announcing retirement in 2005 Occy re announced that he would stay on in 2006 and once again turned the world on its ear after a stunning performance at the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach Australia. Back again in 2007 the mighty "Raging Bull" will always be hard to contain.
After checking out our Škoda Octavia RS 2.0 TFSI and Octavia 4x4, Occy has become an official Australian ambassador of the brand, which, he believes, perfectly fits within traditional Australian values. And importantly enables him to throw a few surf boards in the back or on the roof.
