Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Mile Team Up on Tickets

There are auto races and there are pennant races in the world of sports. The Milwaukee Brewers are in the pennant race, while Wisconsin’s biggest NASCAR superstar Matt Kenseth will be racing at The Milwaukee Mile for the first time in six years.

The Milwaukee Brewers and The Milwaukee Mile have put together an attractive ticket offer that brings together three races in one affordable ticket package.

The “3 for $17” package announced today includes a terrace reserved ticket to the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Houston Astros game on Monday, September 3rd at Miller Park and a 200-level reserved grandstand seat to catch the ‘Governor’s Cup 200’ ARCA RE/MAX Series race, plus the ‘Wisconsin All-Star 50 with Matt Kenseth’ stock car races on Sunday, August 26th at The Milwaukee Mile.

This is a $33 value for just $17, a price point familiar with Wisconsin race fans, as 17 is the race car number in NASCAR for Kenseth, a Cambridge, Wis. native.

“This builds on a marketing partnership formed in 2006 with The Milwaukee Mile,” said Rick Schlesinger, Executive Vice President – Business Operations for the Brewers. “We have had great success packaging our tickets with Wisconsin attractions, and Brewers fans will enjoy the opportunity to catch a game along with these two great races.”

Among the multi-level marketing initiatives, this “3 for $17” offer will be promoted across all Milwaukee Brewers broadcast channels and in-game announcements at Miller Park, as well as scheduled events with the Milwaukee Mile’s Mobile Mile interactive display and Milwaukee Mile Grid Girls appearances. Joint messaging will also be distributed through Tickets.com to Miller Park/Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Mile consumers.

“We are excited to offer sports fans such an attractive offer with this “3 for $17” ticket package,” commented Jim Westerman, Milwaukee Mile VP – Marketing. “The Brewers are heading into the pennant race and our fans can’t wait for Matt Kenseth to return to The Mile to race in a super late model stock car on Sunday, August 26th. We encourage sports fans to take advantage of this special package.”

The “3 for $17” ticket package will be available through the Milwaukee Brewers website, www.brewers.com, by calling 414-902-4000, or by visiting the Brewers Box Office at Miller Park.
